The relationship between humans and nature was once seen as self-evident. Today it appears foreign and exotic. The result is a sense of loss. With this project, Bengtsson seeks to convey a feeling of searching for nature and the spiritual. In the work, nature is mystified, and we are invited into a world that may feel unsettling. The search becomes a journey toward rediscovering and understanding the spiritual connection to our surroundings, encouraging the viewer to question their own relationship with nature.
